Congratulations to all the 2021 Shark Bay Citizen of the Year nominees, you all make a fantastic contribution to our community
The award winners were announced yesterday at the Australia Day Breakfast, presented by the Shire President, Cheryl Cowell:
- Citizen of the Year – Natalie Dul
- Citizen of the Year (Senior) – Fay Castling
- Citizen of the Year (Youth) – Ella Ricetti
- Citizen of the Year (Community Group) – St John Ambulance Shark Bay Sub Centre
The nominees included: Drew Wassman, Donnelle Oakley, Derek & Patricia Weston, Tacy Kelly, John Senteneller, Jennifer Moroney, Tim Hargreaves, Shark Bay Bowling, Sport and Recreation Club and Marine Rescue Shark Bay.
Thankyou to the Shark Bay Community Resource Centre staff and committee members for your assistance in running the event, as well as the Shark Bay Entertainers for your singing vocals, and the Shark Bay Bowling, Sport & Recreation Club for the venue. Special thankyou to the Shark Bay Fish Factory for donating fish that was included in the breakfast menu.
