Ross River virus (RRV) from mosquitoes collected in the South West, and an increase in notified human cases of RRV disease in the Midwest and Gascoyne coastal regions, the Department of Health has issued a media statement reminding people visiting or living in these regions take additional precautions to prevent mosquito bites.
