• The Shire office can assist with all Department of Transport Licensing queries including change of address, vehicle registration and transfers, Driver Licence renewals, boat registration or learners permits

• Explore the magnificent Shark Bay World Heritage region via the web or pop in to the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery and Visitor Centre located at 53 Knight Terrace, Denham

• View information on rates including how to pay your rates

• Health Facilities are available at the Silver Chain Nursing Post (Corner of Durlacher St and Hughes St).  The Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (closed from 12.30-1.30pm).  Doctors visit twice weekly however bookings are essential.  Contact Silver Chain for any health enquiries or to book - 9948 1400

• The Dental Van visits Denham several times per year and is based at the school during their visit.  For bookings, call 0447 854 272

• The Shark Bay Community Resource Centre (CRC) is located at 10 Denham Road.  The CRC offers a range of services including printing, photocopying, internet access, photo printing, toy library, book swap as well as government services including Centrelink and Medicare.  The CRC also provides a range of community activities and workshops.  

• The Shark Bay School caters for Kindergarten to Year 12 Students. In 2007 the School moved to a new location (on Francis Rd) with state of the art facilities including early childhood rooms, manual arts, home economics, science and art rooms. 

• Shark Bay Recreation Centre (Francis Rd) is an indoor centre offering a range of sport and recreation activities for both children and adults.  To see the latest program, visit the Shark Bay CRC or call 9948 1787.  The Centre also has a meeting room available for hire through the Shire.

• The Shire offers Community Assistance Grants for local clubs and associations.  There are two grant rounds per year, please contact the Community Development Officer for more details.

• There is a saline water (not suitable for drinking) and desalinated water service in Denham.   Desalinated water is subject to a quota and higher usage charges.  For information regarding the Denham water supply and charges, please visit the Water Corporation website 

• Mobile phone coverage is available in Denham with Telstra and Optus only.  Other common service providers such as Vodafone are not yet available.  

• Regional Express operates flights from Perth to Monkey Mia/Shark Bay Airport). The Airport is located approximated 10km from the town of Denham.
