Ranger Services

Our Rangers provide various services to the community including but not limited to enforcing:

illegal camping animal control;
firebreak inspections;
dealing with litter and illegal dumping of rubbish;
off-road vehicles;
parking patrol.

To contact the Shire Ranger, please call 0418 531 485. If you reach a message bank please leave your name, phone number and brief details and you will be called back at their earliest availability. Note our Ranger will not respond to private messages or posts on social media.

Please be aware that the Ranger may be dealing with another issue and will follow up with all calls or emails.

Outside Hours / Emergencies

All calls outside business hours will only be responded to in cases of emergencies, such as:

stock on Local Government Roads posing danger
dog attack in progress or aggressive dog wandering at large

Please call 000 for all other emergencies or if a Ranger does not respond within a short period of time regarding the issues listed above.
